Battery-electrolyser funding

This novel work started as a quick look feasibility investigation project by MSc Renewable Energy student Matt Brenton in 2020-21 in the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology, Loughborough University.

The results were so promising that over £12M has been obtained since 2021. Since 2023, we have leveraged major European funding, Innovate UK grants and regional development seed funding to accelerate scale up and automated manufacture and deliver 99% hydrogen purity.
